Be a Hero for Project Lifesaver is a fundraiser organized by FOP Lodge 84 to benefit Project Lifesaver, a program that helps locate people with Alzheimer’s, autism, and other cognitive conditions who may wander. Organizers have postponed the original date and state the race will be held in April 2026, with the exact date to be announced.
Events and registration
The program includes in-person and virtual options: gravel grinder races, a 5K, and a kids fun run, plus virtual counterparts for those events. Listed entry fees range from $25 to $55. Registration for the listed events closes April 18, 2026. Entrants who already registered were given these options: transfer the registration to the new event date, switch to a virtual race, allow the organizer to retain the registration fee, or request a full refund.
