BDMS Cupcake 5K Run/Walk : Mount Saint Mary College Campus, Newburgh NY
Bishop Dunn Memorial School presents the 8th annual Cupcake 5K Run/Walk on September 20, 2026, held on the Mount Saint Mary College campus at 330 Powell Ave, Newburgh, NY 12550. The event includes a full 5K and a Mini Cupcake fun run for children 10 and under.
The 5K course begins on the track that circles the baseball field, continues through the campus, and offers views of the Hudson River Valley. A portion of the course is run twice before the finish behind Bishop Dunn Memorial School. The kids fun run covers one quarter mile on the track around the baseball field.

Registration details listed by the organizer: 5K pre-registration fee is $25, same-day registration is $30, and the Mini Cupcake registrant fee is $10. Payments by cash or check are accepted payable to Bishop Dunn Memorial School. Pre-registration for the 5K closes on September 17, 2026.
T-shirts are provided to the first 100 pre-registered 5K entrants and to the first 40 pre-registered fun run participants. Early bib pick up is scheduled the day before the event at Bishop Dunn Memorial School, and bib pick up is also available on race day. Announcements and the national anthem occur before the race and awards follow after completion.
