BCRR Twilight 5K
The BCRR Twilight 5K and 2 mile walk take place at Peace Valley Nature Center in Doylestown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The event supports the Peace Valley Nature Center and was moved from a previous location to the park so participants experience the park setting.
- 5K point to point, net downhill course from the dam to the Nature Center.
- 2 mile trail walk, starts and finishes at the Peace Valley Nature Center.
Bus transportation is provided to return runners to parking lots on the north side of the lake. Parking for the 5K is available at West Woods parking lot (756 New Galena Road) and Plumstead Christian School (753 New Galena Road), and at the 24 hour parking lot on the south side of the lake (245 Creek Road). Parking for the 2 mile walk is at the Peace Valley Nature Center parking lot (170 North Chapman Road). Runners parked at the 24 hour lot will need to walk across the dam to return to their cars. Parking is limited.
The event will give away customized beach towels instead of t shirts. This race is the final 5K of the Bucks 5K Series and series awards will be presented immediately after the race. Pizza, beer and soft drinks will be served after the event; identification is required to consume alcoholic beverages. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
