BCRR Twilight 5K

BCRR Twilight 5K & 2-Mile Walk : Peace Valley Nature Center

The event is an evening running and walking event held at Peace Valley Nature Center in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It includes a timed Twilight 5K and a 2-mile trail walk and benefits the Peace Valley Nature Center. The race was moved to the park so participants experience the park grounds directly.

Distances offered:

• 5K Twilight race, point to point, net downhill from the dam to the Peace Valley Nature Center.
• 2-mile Twilight nature walk on park trails, starts and finishes at the Nature Center.

Bus transportation is provided to return 5K participants to the parking lots on the north side of the lake. Parking for the 5K is available at the West Woods lot (756 New Galena Road), Plumstead Christian School (753 New Galena Road, Chalfont), and the 24-hour lot (245 Creek Road). Parking for the 2-mile walk is at the Peace Valley Nature Center lot (170 North Chapman Road). Runners who park at the 24-hour lot will need to walk across the dam from West Woods to return to their cars. Parking is limited, and the organizer notes use of Uber or carpooling.

Customized beach towels will be given instead of t-shirts. This is the final 5K of the Bucks 5K Series; series awards will follow the race. Pizza, beer, and soft drinks will be available after the event and ID is required to consume alcoholic beverages. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
