2026 Sarah Beckett Memorial Run
The Sarah Beckett Memorial Run is a community running and walking event held in Victoria, British Columbia. The event honors fallen RCMP officer Cst. Sarah Beckett. The local race takes place in Langford, starting and finishing at the Starlight Stadium plaza area, adjacent to the Sarah Beckett Memorial Playground.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 3 km run or walk.
- 5 km run or walk.
- 5 km virtual event for those residing outside the Greater Victoria and West Shore area.
The registration fee includes a finishers medal for all participants. Local participants can collect their race packages at the West Shore Town Centre on designated dates prior to the run or at Starlight Stadium on the day of the event. Virtual participants receive their race packages via mail.
Proceeds from the event benefit two organizations: BGC South Vancouver Island and the Goldstream Food Bank. The event is open to participants of all ages and physical abilities, with registration available online or in person during package pickup and on the event morning.
