Sarah Beckett Memorial Run 2026
The Sarah Beckett Memorial Run is a local run and walk in Langford, British Columbia, held on May 10, 2026. The event offers two distance options: 3 km and 5 km, with the course starting and finishing in the Starlight Stadium plaza area beside the memorial playground.
Local registration includes a finishers medal and participant insurance through VIRA for the in-person event. Participants can purchase past technical shirts and other merchandise during checkout for an additional charge. A virtual option allows participants to complete the distance anywhere; virtual race packages will be mailed beginning in March. To guarantee on-time delivery of virtual packages, registrations must be completed by April 7, 2026 for addresses off Vancouver Island and by April 27, 2026 for addresses on Vancouver Island.
Funds from the local event are directed to BGC South Vancouver Island and the Goldstream Food Bank. Proceeds from the virtual run are noted as going to the National Police Foundation Benevolent Foundation. Online registration closes on event day; there are no refunds, transfers, or deferrals.
