Bayou Half Marathon and 4 Miler
The Bayou event is scheduled for December 5, 2026 in Bayou La Batre, Alabama. It offers two certified road race distances and an organized post-race gathering with food and beverages.

Both courses are certified (half marathon AL22056JE; 4 Miler AL12086JD). Packet pick-up is available in advance at the Port City Pacers Clubhouse in Mobile and on race day across from St. Margaret's at Shell Belt Road and Highway 188. Pre-registration is possible by mail or in person at McCoy Outdoor, Run-N-Tri, or Fleet Feet in Mobile until the Thursday before the race; online registration closes the Friday before the race.
Entry fees differ for Port City Pacers members and non-members, with separate day-of-race rates. A no-shirt pricing option reduces the fee by three dollars. Pre-registration is required to guarantee a race shirt; shirts may be available on race day while supplies last and will not be reordered after the event.
Participants must be able to complete their distance within three hours; after that time no police or race officials will remain on course. The event collects new, unwrapped toys and distraction items for children at USA Children's and Women's Hospital and for the Child Advocacy Center in Mobile.
