Bayou City Classic
The Bayou City Classic takes place in Houston, Texas, and marks its 49th running in 2026. Organized by the Houston Area Road Runners Association (HARRA), this event functions as a non-profit endeavor where 100% of the proceeds are donated to the Houston Parks Department and various other charities that support the local running community.

- 10k Race
- 5k Fun Run & Walk
The event includes specific categories such as the Centipedes & Costumes competition, adding a distinct visual element to the race course. As a family-friendly event, it caters to walkers and runners throughout the 5k and 10k routes. The race is also featured as part of the RRCA Championship Series.
Recovery and post-race activities are supported by local sponsors, including a brewing company and several community health organizations.
