Bayside Running in San Leandro
The Bay Breeze event takes place along the shoreline of the San Francisco Bay, with all activities centered at the San Leandro Marina Park. Participants follow a bayside trail system that remains in close proximity to the water throughout the event. The courses are designed to be mostly flat, utilizing easy trails that provide views of the bay and the San Francisco skyline.
The event offers three distinct distances to accommodate different preferences:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
All race distances start and finish at the same location within the San Leandro Marina Park. The event is open to a variety of participants, specifically allowing both runners and walkers to take part in the scheduled distances. Support services for participants include pace groups and assistance from volunteers throughout the course.
The registration for the event includes specific amenities such as race shirts and finisher awards. Digital photography is provided during the race, with photos made available to participants afterward.
