Bay Breeze - San Leandro

Event overview

The Bay Breeze race takes place on February 14, 2026 at San Leandro Marina Park (14001 Monarch Bay Dr, San Leandro, CA). The event offers three in-person distances:

• Half marathon
• 10K
• 5K

There is also a remote runner option and a "Hiker Division" for half marathon participants who expect to take more than 4.5 hours. Hikers in that division will be listed as official finishers and receive finisher medals, but they are not eligible for overall or age group awards. All races use bib-tag timing. All participants receive custom finisher medals and shirts; both cotton and tech shirts are available. Age group awards are given to the top three finishers in five-year categories.

Course and logistics

All distances start and finish at San Leandro Marina Park and follow a mostly-flat bayside trail that stays near the water. The half marathon has a 4.5-hour course time limit; participants must reach the 4th aid station (mile 10) by the published cutoff (about a 20+ minute per mile pace). Water stations are fully stocked with water, sports drink, gels, pretzels, and candy.
