Bay Breeze Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K
The Bay Breeze event takes place at the San Leandro Marina Park, offering participants a scenic route along the San Francisco Bay. The event is open to both runners and walkers and features three distinct distances:
- Half Marathon (21.1 km)
- 10 km
- 5 km
The half marathon course has a time limit of 4.5 hours. For those who intend to hike the half marathon distance at a pace exceeding 4.5 hours, a dedicated Hiker Division is available. Participants in the Hiker Division are listed as official finishers but are not eligible for age group awards.
The courses are professionally timed using bib-tag technology. Multiple water stations are positioned along the routes to provide participants with water, sports drinks, gels, and snacks. For the 5 km, a station is located at mile 1.25. The 10 km features four stations, while the half marathon includes five stations located at various intervals.
Participants receive a finisher medal and a custom shirt, with both cotton and technical fabric options provided. In addition to finisher medals, age group awards are presented to the top three finishers in five-year age categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
