Packet pick-up is available on the two days before the race and on race morning; participants are encouraged to pick up packets in advance. The last date to guarantee a shirt size is October 28. Non-perishable food, toiletries, feminine hygiene items, and toilet paper may be donated at packet pick-up and on race day.
Dogs are allowed to run with participants but retractable leashes are not permitted; runners are asked to be aware of and stay clear of other runners. The event has published contingency plans for weather: rain alone will not cancel the event unless visibility is severely reduced, lightning triggers successive 30-minute postponements when detected within six miles, and any tornado warning close to the event results in cancellation. Organizers reserve the right to shorten courses to comply with road closure agreements or safety requirements. Results from prior years are maintained by the event.
