Reindeer 5K Run and 2K Walk
The Reindeer 5K Run and 2K Walk is scheduled for December 12, 2026 at David Braun Park in Houston, TX. The event includes a chip timed 5K run and a separate 2K walk.
Distances:
- 5K run with chip timing.
- 2K walk.
Entry fees are Adults: $40, Under 18: $25, Pets: $10. Strollers are welcome, but for the safety of participants no bikes, trikes, skates, skateboards or motorized vehicles will be permitted.
Pets are welcome and pet registration proceeds go directly to the NB Animal Shelter. Registered dogs receive treats and a bandana. Vendors and door prizes will be located under the pavilion. The first 350 registrants will receive a tri-blend event T-shirt.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Animal Shelter, Playground Improvements, Nauticats Swim Team, Peninsula Clean-Up and other community projects. Time and place for race number and T-shirt pick-up will be announced later. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
