Reindeer 5k Run and 2k Walk
This event takes place on December 12, 2026 at David Braun Park in Houston, TX. It features a chip-timed 5K run and a 2K walk with separate categories for adults and participants 17 and under.

Entry fees are listed as Adults $40, Under 18 $25, and Pets $10. Strollers are permitted; for safety reasons no bikes, trikes, skates, skateboards or motorized vehicles will be allowed. Pets are welcome and pet registration proceeds go directly to the NB Animal Shelter. Dogs receive treats and a bandana.
Vendors and door prizes will be located under the pavilion. The first 350 registrants are scheduled to receive a tri-blend event T-shirt. Time and place for race number and T-shirt pick-up will be announced later. Proceeds benefit the Animal Shelter, playground improvements, the Nauticats Swim Team, the Peninsula Clean-Up, and other community projects.
