GenesisHR Battlegreen Run 2025
The GenesisHR Battlegreen Run takes place in Lexington, Massachusetts, starting from Lexington High School. The event marks its 31st edition in 2026. This road race features traditional elements, including a performance of the national anthem by the voice of the Boston Bruins and musket fire from the Lexington Minute Men to signal the start.
Participants can choose from several in-person and virtual categories:
- 6.125 miles Bob Ludwig Memorial (Almost) 10k Run
- 3.1 miles Ralph Lord Memorial 5K Run or Walk
- 1.2 miles Ralph Lord Memorial walk
- 6.2 miles Virtual Run or Walk
- 3.1 miles Virtual Run or Walk
- 1.2 miles Virtual Walk
The foundation operates this event as a charity fundraiser, with all registration and donation proceeds directed to designated charity partners. For those attending the physical event, off-site parking and a free shuttle service are available from Minuteman High School located at 758 Marrett Road.
The virtual options allow participants to complete their chosen distance at any location over a seven-day period. Virtual registration includes a personalized race bib, a downloadable certificate of completion, and access to online results tracking.
