Battle of the Badges 5K - Whitestown
The Battle of the Badges 5K is scheduled for October 3, 2026, and is the fifth annual running of this community event presented by First Due Company. The event takes place at the Whitestown Street Department Building at 121 Hull St in Whitestown, Indiana, within the town's Legacy Core.
The course distance is 3.1 Miles and will include sections through Whitestown’s Legacy Core and the Big 4 Trail. The event features a team competition between the Whitestown Fire and Police Departments. Registrants choose which team to support during registration, and the department with the most signups receives the Battle of the Badges trophy.
Registration opens on August 6, 2026 at 15:00 and closes on September 7, 2026 at 23:59. The registration fee is $25.00. A portion of race proceeds will be donated to the Boone County Cancer Society in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
