About the race

The 11th Annual Brain Bolt 5K is scheduled for Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Carmel, Indiana. The event raises awareness and funds for people affected by traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, with all proceeds benefiting the Neurosurgery Foundation at Goodman Campbell to support research and care.

The in-person event is based at the Carmel Gazebo at Civic Square, 1 Civic Square, Carmel, IN 46032. It includes community activities such as food and drink trucks, a featured patient presentation, recognition of survivors, the MegaBrain exhibit, face painting, corn hole, and vendor booths. Participation options include attending in person or contributing monetary or in-kind donations.

Packet pickup is available at Goodman Campbell’s Carmel office the week of the race with specific pickup times:

Monday 09/28/2026 4:00pm-6:00pm
Tuesday 09/29/2026 11:00am-1:00pm and 4:00pm-6:00pm

Day-of packet pickup begins at 8:30am at the registration tent.
