The event is an eight-hour timed run/walk on a looped, paved course of approximately one-mile-ish per loop. Participants aim to cover as much distance as possible within the eight-hour timeframe. Proceeds for the year will be donated to a nonprofit formed in 2019 that provides housing, enrichment and educational programs, and social options for adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities (IDD). Registration allows selection of Male, Female, or Non-Binary. Non-binary and trans participants will appear in overall standings and in their selected gender category if applicable; results will reflect the participant’s chosen gender identity and will not be changed without consent.
