Event overview
Two Tunnels - August 2026 is a running event in Bath on Sunday 16 August 2026. The event is organised by Relish The Great Outdoors and starts and finishes at Brickfields Park, The Hollow, Twerton, Bath, BA2 1LX. Tickets for the event are currently sold out.
The organiser supports Sustrans by contributing £1 per runner. Fundraising options are offered and, where applicable, participants receive a running vest and other items. Over £30,000 has been raised to date for Sustrans.
Route and tunnels
The course follows the converted Somerset & Dorset Railway shared use path through two parallel tunnels beneath Bath. The Devonshire Tunnel is 408 m long and the Combe Down Tunnel is 1672 m long. Both tunnels are described as well lit and well surfaced. The tunnels were reopened to public use in 2013 after restoration work led by the Two Tunnels Group and Sustrans.
