Bastille Day Trail Run – Franschhoek

The Bastille Day Trail Run takes place on Saturday, 10 July 2027 at Plaisir Wine Estate in Franschhoek. The event features marked trail routes with climbs and scenic views, refuel stations, medical support on standby, event photography, and a conservation fee included with entries.

Standard entry fees are listed by distance: 35 km R1950, 25 km R1250, 15 km R690, 10 km R490, and 6 km R250. Entries include a race number and timing, refuel stations, a finishers medal, and event photography. Cold beverages and food are available for purchase at the venue, and spectators are welcome.

Early-entry incentives apply for registrations completed before 10 June 2027: 35 km entrants receive a race jacket; 25 km and 15 km entrants receive a race shirt; 10 km and 6 km entrants receive a pair of trail socks.

Registration takes place on Thursday, 8 July (venue to be confirmed) and on Friday, 9 July at Plaisir Wine Estate, Franschhoek. Late entries are available only at Thursday registration.
