Bastille Day Trail Run - Franschhoek
Bastille Day Trail Run is a trail running event taking place at Plaisir Wine Estate in Franschhoek. The course follows marked trails with climbs, flowing singletrack and sections where feet are likely to get wet. Organisers note participants should be prepared for wilderness conditions.
Entries are limited. Early-bird entry fees for 2026 are listed for each distance below.
- 50 km: R1900
- 35 km: R1450
- 25 km: R1050
- 17 km: R650
- 10 km: R450
Entry includes a 2026 Bastille shirt, race number and timing, conservation fee, marked trails, refuel stations, event photography, medics on standby and a medal. Registrations open with specific collection opportunities before the event; upgrades, downgrades and substitutions are allowed only at the Wednesday registration and carry a R100 substitution fee.
