Barwon Heads Running Festival
The Barwon Heads Running Festival is scheduled for 20 June 2027 at Lahey Square, Barwon Heads. The event offers a range of race distances and a flat out and back course along Thirteenth Beach Road. All events start and finish at Lahey Square, adjacent to the Barwon Heads Hotel.

- 1 km Kids Race not timed, medals for all
Timing and starts are managed with integrated timing chips in disposable race bibs; official results are based on chip time. The half marathon and 10 km use self-managed wave starts with suggested pace bands; the 5 km uses a single mass start. The 1 km Kids Race runs in two waves by age, is not timed, and does not have placings.
Aid stations supply water and 32GI sports drink at approximately every 2.5 km, with a self‑serve station at the 5 km turnaround. First aid will be on site and roving the course. Public and portable toilets are available at the event site and at signposted locations along the course. A clothing bag drop and merchandise pickup are located in the event village, and bike parking is available at the site.
Entry management includes online, late and on‑day options; transfers are permitted up to seven days before the event. Refunds follow published Event People timeframes, and optional third party protection through Active.com may provide broader refund coverage.
