Pre-entry is not available; entry on the day is listed and an entry on-day fee of £10 applies. If the agricultural show is cancelled the race will still go ahead. Minimum age is 15 and under-18s may take part and will run with the senior field. Teams are allowed with three to count.
Participants must carry full FRA minimum kit; organisers may reduce requirements on the day. A map is mandatory and is available to buy on the day for £1. Recorded course bests are 00:31:01 (male, 2016) and 00:35:50 (female, 2019); these results do not count if the show is cancelled and a slightly shorter course is used.
