The Barrow Boogie 5K and Fun Run takes place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Barrow Elementary School, 100 Pinecrest Dr, Athens, GA 30605. The event includes the following races:

Course, registration and other details
The Fun Run consists of two loops around the school, starting and ending on Rutherford Street. The 5K starts and finishes on Rutherford Street and runs through the surrounding neighborhood. The event supports the Barrow Elementary School PTO.
Early bird registration prices apply through February 9, 2026. The Fun Run has a lower early registration fee than the 5K, and prices increase after February 9. A family-of-four 5K pricing option is available until February 9, 2026. Registering for both events qualifies for a $5 combined-event discount.
Packet pickup is offered the day before in the school cafeteria, and there is packet pickup and race day registration on the event day. Awards are given for the Fun Run top finishers by age divisions for children 12 and under, and the 5K awards include overall, masters, and five-year age-group categories for male and female finishers. Finish-line timing is provided by Classic Race Services. There are no refunds for inclement weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
