Course and logistics
The main loop is 50k; all laps run counterclockwise. Expect roughly 3,300 feet of elevation gain and loss per 50k lap (about 6,600 feet for the 100k). The terrain is rocky and technical with short steep hills; the only consistently flat section is near YaYa Aid Station called the Race Track. Course markings include orange caution tape, yellow arrows, confidence markers, and reflectors for night navigation.
Aid stations provide full support at several locations. Lodge, Equestrian, and Chapas offer hot and cold foods; Boyles, Nachos, and YaYa offer regular food and drinks. The event is cupless; runners should bring a reusable cup or bottle. Drop bag delivery is provided to Nachos and Chapas for the 100k only. Pacers are allowed for 100k runners after one 50k loop, with registration required. Timing is chip based; results show gun time and chip time. Camping and parking options are available at the park with fee details on the event information. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
