Band on the Run - Kettering
Band on the Run is the Kettering Fairmont Band Boosters 2nd annual 5k walk and run, held on May 31, 2026 at Kettering Fairmont High School, 3301 Shroyer Road, Kettering, Ohio. The 5k course is laid out on the school grounds and participants may march, walk, run, jog, or skip the route.
Registration opens January 1, 2026 and closes May 31, 2026. Entry fees are $40 for participants aged 12 and up and $30 for children under 12. Registrations completed by May 13 include a Band on the Run participant t shirt; a no shirt option reduces the fee by $10. On site registration is available on the day of the event and a limited number of t shirts will be available for purchase.
The event is a fundraiser supporting more than 800 students in band and color guard programs in grades 6 through 12. Funds raised will help with instrument and uniform maintenance and repair, music and show development, band camp, travel expenses, and related program costs.
Additional activities at the event include raffle baskets, door prizes, vendors, food trucks, and novelty treats. Pets are not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
