Band on the Run - Kettering
Band on the Run is the Kettering Fairmont Band Boosters' 2nd Annual 5k Walk/Run on May 31, 2026. The event takes place on the grounds of Kettering Fairmont High School at 3301 Shroyer Road, Kettering, OH 45429.
This fundraising walk and run supports more than 800 students in the bands and color guard programs for grades 6 through 12. Funds raised will help with instrument and uniform maintenance and repair, music and show development, band camp, travel expenses and related program costs.
Participants may march, walk, run, jog or skip along a 5k course set up on school grounds. Entry fees are listed as $40 for participants 12 and older and $30 for children under 12. Registrants before May 13 receive a BOTR participant t-shirt; on-site registration will be available and a limited number of additional shirts may be offered for purchase.
On-site activities include raffle baskets, door prizes, vendors, food trucks and novelty treats. Donations are accepted and the Kettering Fairmont Band Boosters are a 501(c)(3) organization. Pets are not permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
