Band on the Run is a fundraising 5k run/walk organized by the Kettering Fairmont Band Boosters. It takes place on May 31, 2026, at Kettering Fairmont High School, 3301 Shroyer Rd, Kettering, OH 45429. Registration opens March 1, 2026. The entry price is $40.
Purpose and features
Proceeds support Fairmont bands and color guards for grades 6-12. The booster group reports nearly 800 students across marching band, concert band, jazz ensemble, athletic band, symphonic and wind symphony, indoor percussion, and color guards. Funds will help with instrument and uniform maintenance, music and show development, travel expenses, and related needs. The event will include vendors, food trucks, and novelty treat concessions.
