Bampa's House 5K Run/Walk
This event is a community 5K run and walk held at Craig Park Pavilion in Painted Post, NY. The course covers 3.1 miles and follows the Painted Post Trail before winding through the streets of Painted Post where the namesake once lived. The event offers both an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K option that can be completed outdoors, indoors, on a treadmill, or on a track.
Registration carries a fee of $30.00 for each 5K entry. Free T-shirts are included for 5K participants who register by Wednesday, August 6. Virtual participants who submit their time are eligible to have a T-shirt mailed to them.
Participants may create personal fundraising pages to collect donations; all proceeds from the race support Bampa’s House (Corning Comfort Care, Inc.). Bampa’s House is a nonprofit organization serving Steuben, Chemung, and Schuyler counties and focuses on providing a safe and comfortable place for people to receive end of life care when home care is not an option.
