Bampa's House 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for September 12, 2026, at Craig Park in Painted Post, New York. The event offers both an in-person and a virtual option for the same 5K distance (about 3.1 miles). Registration opens May 4, 2026. All proceeds from the race go to Bampa’s House (Corning Comfort Care, Inc.), a non-profit that serves Steuben, Chemung, and Schuyler counties and provides end-of-life care when home care is not an option. The course uses the Painted Post Trail and streets of Painted Post and is described as a 3.1 mile route. In-person awards include overall top finishers by gender and top male and female finishers in age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 & up.
