Bampa's House 5K Run/Walk
The Tenth Annual Bampa's House 5K Run/Walk takes place on September 12, 2026, at Craig Park Pavilion in Painted Post, NY. The event is organized to raise funds for Bampa's House (Corning Comfort Care, Inc.), a non-profit serving Steuben, Chemung, and Schuyler counties that focuses on providing a safe and comfortable place for end-of-life care when home care is not an option.
The event offers a 5K (3.1 mile) course that follows the Painted Post Trail and winds through the streets of Painted Post. There are two participation formats: an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K that can be completed outdoors, indoors, on a treadmill, or on a track. Virtual participants who submit their time will receive a mailed t-shirt for participating.
Registration opens May 4, 2026, and registration closes September 9, 2026. The registration fee for each 5K option is $30. Participants may also create personal fundraising pages to collect donations on behalf of Bampa's House.
