Thanksgiving Day Pie & Glove 5k Run/Walk
The 32nd Annual Thanksgiving Day Pie & Glove 5k Run/Walk takes place on Thursday, November 26, 2026, at Craig Park in Painted Post, New York, at the intersection of West High Street and Maple Avenue. The event is a 5k run/walk covering 3.1 miles. The registration fee is $25.
Pre-registration closes on Sunday, November 22. On-the-spot registration is available during bib pickup and on race day; participants who register on site must have a device capable of accessing the registration page to complete registration and receive a race bib.
Early bib pickup and registration are scheduled for Wednesday, November 25 at the Corning YMCA. Race day bib pickup and registration will take place at the Craig Park Pavilion on November 26.
A new style of gloves will be provided to the first 500 registered participants. Parking is recommended at the middle school or across from the school to keep roads clear, with an expected field of roughly 500 to 800 participants.
Awards include overall winners for male and female, prizes for the first three places in each age group category, and prizes for Best Individual Costume and Best Group Costume. Age groups are 9 and under, 10-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
