Baltonsborough 5 Mile Road Race
The Baltonsborough Five Mile Road Race is part of the Somerset Series and the Somerset County Athletic Association's County Championship. The race is held on Bank Holiday Monday in August.
Immediately after the start of the five-mile race, a combined 1.5-mile fun run and junior race takes place. Later the same day, the Baltonsborough Show includes a children's "Rainbow Run" where participants are showered with powder paint.
A separate charity event, the Christmas Pudding race, is held on a Sunday in December. It follows the same course as the five-mile race. Profits go to charity, and participants are encouraged to wear fancy dress and receive a Christmas pudding.
