Races and dates
The Baltonsborough event centrepiece is the "Baltonsborough Five", a five mile road race held in August; the next running of this race is scheduled for Monday 31 August 2026. The event is part of the Somerset Series and forms part of the Somerset County Athletic Association County Championship. On the same day the programme also includes a combined fun and junior event.

Additional events and charity race
After the August races the Baltonsborough Show takes place and includes a children's Rainbow Run where participants are showered with powder paint at points along the course. A separate charity "Christmas Pudding" race is held over the same course as the Five Mile; the next scheduled Christmas Pudding race is on Sunday 21 December 2025. All profits from the Christmas Pudding race go to charity, participants are encouraged to wear fancy dress, and each participant receives a Christmas pudding.
