Baltimore Triathlon Festival
The Baltimore Triathlon Festival takes place October 3 and October 4, 2026, at the Hammerman Area of Gunpowder State Park in Chase, Maryland. The program is spread over two days with the women's sprint triathlon on Saturday and the men's sprint triathlon on Sunday. A youth triathlon for ages 6 to 15 is scheduled on Saturday before the women's race. Age for youth competitors is determined as of December 31, 2026.
Event distances include:
- Women's and Men's Sprint Triathlon: 17.5 miles
- Sprint Aquabike: 14.4 miles
- Sprint Duathlon: 18 miles
- Team relays: 17.5 miles
- Youth triathlon (6 to 15 years): 100 yard swim, 2.2 mile bike, 0.5 mile run
Most adult races open registration on December 12, 2025 and close on January 10, 2026. Fees listed for the adult sprint events are $90 and for team relays $110. Youth registration also opens December 12, 2025 and closes on October 3, 2026; the youth fee is $40.
