Bailey's Run for Autism
Bailey's Run for Autism is an athletic event held in Foxboro, Massachusetts, organized by a regional non-profit that supports individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families. The event features two distinct participation options starting on Payson Road:
- 5K running race
- 1 Mile walk
The 5K course is professionally measured and USATF Certified. It is described as a flat and fast loop that begins and ends on Payson Road. The route proceeds onto Chestnut Street, continues to Mechanic Street, moves up Baker Street, and then returns via Chestnut Street to the starting point. Complimentary t-shirts are provided to the first 200 registered participants in the 5K run.
The 1 Mile walk also starts on Payson Road. While there is no registration fee for the walk, all participants are required to register and sign a waiver. The organizers provide separate routes for the two activities to ensure that safety precautions and personnel are managed effectively within a one-hour timeframe. Following the completion of the physical activities, an after-party gathering is held at Conrads. Participants also have the option to engage in fundraising to support regional programming, education, and research efforts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
