Fell Race in West Pennines
The Baildon Canter is a fell running event held in Baildon, located within the South/West Pennines region of England. The race is classified under the BS category, indicating a short distance with a moderate ascent. The senior course covers a distance of 5 km (3.1 miles) and includes a total climb of 152 m (499 ft). Participation is open to runners with a minimum age of 12, and the event operates under FRA rules with mandatory PM skills.
The event venue is situated at the Baildon Rugby Club on Jenny Lane. Entry for the race is available exclusively on the day of the event, and participants are advised to arrive early to register. Entry fees are set at £5 for seniors and £1 for juniors, with no additional charge for entry into the local Carnival.
In addition to the senior race, several junior categories are available:

- 3 km race for U12 participants
- Short races on the field for U6 participants
Medals are provided for all junior finishers, with specific prizes awarded to the first, second, and third boy and girl in each age category. Prizes are also available for senior age categories.
