Event Overview
The Baildon Boundary Way Half Marathon is a multi-terrain event covering 13.5 miles. The course is a single lap through woodlands, moorlands, and rolling countryside. It is described as undulating.
Event Details
The race is licensed by the TRA and held under UK Athletics rules. It is open to both affiliated and non-affiliated runners. Entry is not available on the day and closes at 10:00 on Saturday, 11 April 2026. Places can be transferred but there are no refunds or deferrals.
Facilities and Logistics
Race HQ and the start/finish are at the Baildon Rugby & Cricket Sports Club. Race numbers are collected on the day. Facilities include water stations, distance markers, toilets, changing facilities, and showers. There is no baggage store. Refreshments are available from Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream and the Rugby Club.
Rules and Participation
Participants must be aged 17 or over. No pushchairs or dogs are allowed, and the course is not suitable for wheelchairs. There is a cut-off point at 8.7 miles; runners must reach it within 2 hours 30 minutes of the start or they will be withdrawn and offered transport back to Race HQ. A finisher's T-shirt is given to all who complete the course. A prizegiving follows inside the club.
Charitable Contribution
