Baildon Boundary Way Half Marathon
The Baildon Boundary Way is a multi-terrain running event taking place in Baildon, West Yorkshire. The race covers a distance of 13.5 miles in a single lap. The course features an undulating profile that traverses a variety of environments, including woodlands, moorlands, and rural countryside.
The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association (TRA) and conducted under UK Athletics Rules. It is open to both England Athletics affiliated and non-affiliated participants, provided they are over the age of 17. The race has a total entry limit of 500 participants. There is a specific time restriction on the course; runners must reach the 8.7-mile mark within 2 hours and 30 minutes. Those who do not meet this cut-off will be asked to withdraw from the race and utilize provided transport back to the headquarters.
The Race HQ is located at the Baildon Rugby & Cricket Sports Club on Heygate Lane. Facilities at this location include changing rooms, toilets, and showers, though there is no dedicated baggage storage available. Participants collect their race numbers from the HQ on the day of the event. On-site refreshments are provided by the Rugby Club and Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream.
Registration includes a commemorative t-shirt for all finishers. The event supports charitable causes, with a portion of the funds raised donated to The Candlelighters Trust and The Running Charity.
