Event Overview
The Baildon Boundary Way is a multi-terrain running event scheduled for April 2026 in Baildon, West Yorkshire. The race covers a distance of 13.5 miles over an undulating single-lap course. The route takes participants through a variety of environments, including woodlands, moorlands, and rural countryside.
The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association (TRA) and conducted under UK Athletics Rules. It is open to both England Athletics (EA) affiliated and non-affiliated runners. Participation is restricted to individuals aged 17 and over. There is a specific cut-off point at 8.7 miles; participants must reach this mark within 2 hours and 30 minutes or they will be asked to withdraw.
Facilities and Logistics
Race headquarters is located at the Baildon Rugby & Cricket Sports Club, which provides several facilities for participants:

There is no baggage storage available at the site. Race numbers are to be collected at the venue on the morning of the event. All finishers receive a T-shirt, and a prizegiving ceremony is held inside the sports club following the race. Refreshments are provided by Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream and the Rugby Club.
The entry limit for the event is 500 participants. Registration closes on April 11, 2026, and entries are not accepted on the day of the race. The event does not allow pushchairs or dogs and is not suitable for wheelchairs. A portion of the funds raised is donated to charities including The Candlelighters Trust and The Running Charity.
