Badger Trail Races
The Badger Trail Races are a series of ultramarathon events organized by Ten Junk Miles Racing along the Badger State Trail continuing onto the Jane Addams Trail between Belleville, WI and Orangeville, IL. The event spans August 1 and 2, 2026 with a pre race packet pickup on July 31 at Dots Tavern in Basco, WI.

The course is 99 percent rail trail and less than 1 percent asphalt. Aid stations are placed every 4 to 8 miles. Runners are timed from start to finish and finishers of all races receive a finisher award. The 100 mile race includes additional awards and recognition: every starter receives a belt, every finisher receives a Badger Buckle, larger buckles are awarded for finishes over 30 hours, and repeat finishers receive conchos and longer term megabuckles. The Badger 100 is acknowledged as an official qualifier for the Badwater 135.
