Event Information
The Badger Trail Races are held in Belleville, Wisconsin, on August 1-2, 2026. Distances are run on separate days: the 100 Miler and 100K start on August 1, while the 50 Miler, 50K, Marathon, and Half Marathon start on August 2.
Course
All races are run on the Badger State Trail and the Jane Addams Trail between Belleville, Wisconsin, and Orangeville, Illinois. The course is described as 99% rail trail and less than 1% asphalt.
Aid Stations & Timing
Runners will have access to full aid stations spaced approximately every 4-8 miles along the course. The event times runners from the starting line to the finish line.
Registration & Swag
Registration closes on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. The deadline to guarantee receipt of the full race swag bag and finisher's award is July 1, 2026.
Cutoffs
The event enforces time cutoffs:
- 100 Mile: 36 hours
- 100K: 33 hours
- 50 Mile: 12 hours
- 50K: 12 hours
- Marathon: 11 hours
- Half Marathon: 11 hours
Awards
All finishers receive a finisher's award. For the 100-mile race, special awards are given:
- All starters receive a belt.
- All finishers receive a buckle.
- Finishers with a time over 30 hours receive a larger "Over 30" buckle.
- Five-time finishers receive a "5X 500 Mile Megabuckle."
- Multiple-time finishers receive conchos for their belt.
