Badger Trail Races

Badger Trail Races is a series of ultramarathon events presented by Ten Junk Miles Racing that run along the Badger State Trail and continue onto the Jane Addams Trail between Belleville, WI and Orangeville, IL. The course is reported as 99% rail trail and less than 1% asphalt.

The 2027 Badger 100 Mile has been selected as a qualifying race for the 2028 Western States 100; runners who complete the 100 mile within 30 hours become eligible to enter the Western States lottery. The event weekend is scheduled for July 31 to August 1, 2027, with pre race packet pickup at Dots Tavern in Basco, WI on the preceding Friday.

The organizer provides hotel information and notes that discounts are available for active military, veterans, and first responders. The races follow a largely rail trail route through southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
