Event overview
The Badger Trail Races by Ten Junk Miles Racing take place August 1-2, 2026. Multiple distances are offered on a rail-trail route based out of Belleville, WI. Registration closes July 29, 2026. Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled for July 31 at Dots Tavern in Basco, WI. The guaranteed race swag and deferral deadline is July 1, 2026.

Course and support
All races run along the Badger State Trail continuing onto the Jane Addams Trail between Belleville, WI and Orangeville, IL. The course surface is 99% rail trail and less than 1% asphalt. The route passes near communities including Belleville, Monticello, Monroe and Orangeville. Full aid stations are provided about every 4-8 miles. Timing is provided from start to finish.
Cutoffs and awards
Official cutoffs by distance are:
- 100 Mile: 36 hours
- 100K: 33 hours
- 50 Mile: 12 hours
- 50K: 12 hours
- Marathon: 11 hours
- Half Marathon: 11 hours
Finishers of all races receive a finisher's award. For the 100 mile event, every starter receives a belt and every finisher receives the Badger Buckle. Over-30-hour finishers receive an additional bonus buckle. Multiple-time finishers receive conchos for their belt; five-time finishers receive a 500-mile megabuckle or megaconcho. The Badger 100 is acknowledged as a Badwater 135 qualifier. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
