Event overview
The Badger Trail Races by Ten Junk Miles Racing take place August 1-2, 2026 along the Badger State Trail and the Jane Addams Trail between Belleville, WI and Orangeville, IL. The course is reported as 99% rail trail and less than 1% asphalt. The event is timed from the starting line to the finish line. Pre-race packet pickup is scheduled at Dots Tavern in Basco, WI on July 31.

Support, cutoffs, awards and registration
Full aid stations are placed every 4-8 miles. Cutoff limits by distance are published as follows: 100 Mile - 36 hours; 100K - 33 hours; 50 Mile - 12 hours; 50K - 12 hours; Marathon - 11 hours; Half Marathon - 11 hours. Finishers of all races receive a finisher's award. Specific 100 mile provisions include a belt for every starter, a Badger Buckle for 100 mile finishers, a larger "Over 30" Buckle for finishes over 30 hours, and conchos or megaconchos for multiple-time finishers. The Badger 100 is acknowledged as a Badwater 135 qualifier. Registration closes July 29, 2026; the guaranteed swag deadline and the event deferral deadline are listed as July 1.
