Badass Texas is a Run Project event in Waco, Texas, scheduled for May 30, 2027. The weekend includes a pre-race shakeout run, multiple packet pickup dates before race day, a post-race Finisher Fest at the start/finish venue, and a pool party later the same day. Course routing runs along the Brazos River and travels through Cameron Park and East Brazos Park, finishing in Heritage Square. The event page lists USATF-certified course maps for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon and provides interactive maps for elevation and route review. Pace groups are provided for the half marathon with a range of target finish times.
Prizes are awarded to 1st through 3rd overall male and female, 1st overall masters male and female, and the top three in multiple age groups; awards must be claimed in person. Event swag includes a tech tank top, a finisher medal or medallion, and a race bib. The Run Project Half Finisher Medallion program awards a custom die-cast medallion to runners who complete five designated half marathons.
