Badass Texas Race Waco : Half Marathon, 10K, 5K
Badass Texas is a race weekend in Waco, TX, organized by Run Project. The event offers three distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
Races start and finish at Heritage Square in downtown Waco (311 Austin Ave). Course routes run near the Brazos River and through Cameron Park and East Brazos Park. Interactive and printable course maps are provided, and the 5K, 10K, and half marathon maps include USATF certification documents.
The weekend program includes a free Shakeout Run the evening before race day, packet pickup at several local running stores and the event hotel, and an on-site Finisher Fest with a beer garden. A separate Badass Pool Party is scheduled after the race. Pace groups are offered for the half marathon, covering a range of goal finish times up to the 3:45 time limit. A virtual race option is also available.
Awards are given to top overall finishers and to age-group top 3 finishers across many age brackets; winners must be present to claim awards.
