Badass Texas : Waco, TX
Badass Texas is a multi-distance running event held on May 24, 2026, in Waco, Texas, with start and finish at Heritage Square (311 Austin Ave). Courses run along the Brazos River and pass through Cameron Park and East Brazos Park. The event uses USATF certified routes and offers both in-person and virtual options.

Event services and race-day features include a tech race shirt, finisher medal, custom bibs, hydration and gels on the half marathon course, restrooms and bag check, free parking and optional VIP parking, a beer garden for those over 21, DJ music at the post-race area, and Run Project pace groups. Run Project Pacers will provide pace groups for the half marathon with targets ranging from 1:45 to 3:45. Packet pickup is available at local running stores (Fort Worth Running Company, Dallas Running Company, Waco Running Company) and on race morning at Heritage Square. Virtual participants receive a shirt, finisher medal, and customizable bib; virtual packets begin shipping the week of May 25, 2026.
Additional weekend activities listed for the event include a free Saturday shakeout run hosted at the EVEN Hotel and a post-race pool party at the EVEN Hotel.
