Badass Texas Half-Marathon

Badass Texas

Badass Texas is a weekend race festival in Waco, Texas with multiple distance options held around Heritage Square and along the Brazos River. The course runs through Cameron Park and East Brazos Park and finishes in Heritage Square in downtown Waco. Course maps are available, including USATF certified maps for the 5K, 10K, and half marathon.

The weekend program includes a free Shakeout Run hosted at the Even Hotel, packet pickup at several local running stores and the Waco Running Company, a postrace Finisher Fest with music and a beer garden, and a pool party at the Even Hotel featuring DJs, pool games, and prize raffles. Packet pickup is scheduled across multiple dates and locations in Fort Worth, Southlake, Plano, and Waco prior to race day.

Award categories are listed for overall and age group placements: 1st–3rd overall male and female, masters winners, and top three finishers in detailed age brackets. Awards must be claimed in person and will not be mailed. Pace groups for the half marathon are provided by Run Project Pacers and range from 1:45 to 3:45.
