Badass Texas Half Marathon, 10K, 5K : Waco, TX
Badass Texas is a multi-distance running event held in Waco, Texas on May 24, 2026. Distances offered include:

The start and finish area is at Heritage Square in downtown Waco (311 Austin Ave). Course routes run along the Brazos River and include sections through Cameron Park and East Brazos Park. Course maps are provided and the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon have USATF certification.
Event weekend includes a free Shakeout Run hosted at the Even Hotel, a postrace Finisher Fest with music and beer offerings, and a Badass Pool Party at the Even Hotel; the pool party is listed as sold out. Packet pickup is scheduled across several dates and locations in the week before the race, including Waco Running Company and multiple Dallas/Fort Worth area running stores. The Half Marathon registration is shown as sold out.
Swag for participants includes a tech tank top, a finisher medal, and a race bib. Pace groups for the half marathon are offered with goal times ranging from 1:45 to 3:45.
