Event overview
The Bad Dawg Ultra Endurance Run is a mid-August 2026 endurance event held in Waynesville, MO at 25785 Red Oak Road. The event supports the OneSolePurpose project to provide a new pair of shoes to every elementary student in Title 1 school districts. Distances offered include multiple ultra distances plus a 12-mile option. Registration for the event closes on August 14 at 11:59 PM CT.
Course and distances
The course is an out-and-back 10-mile loop on packed gravel with typical Ozark rolling hills and tree-lined country views. Aid stations are located at the start and at the turnaround; both have water and Gatorade, typical aid station food, and bathrooms. The main aid station will also serve hot quesadillas.
- 100 miles: 10 loops
- 50 miles: 5 loops
- 100k: first loop 6 miles out and 6 miles back, then 5 additional loops
- 50k: first loop 5.5 miles out and 5.5 miles back, then two additional loops
- 12 miles: 6 miles out and 6 miles back
Logistics and rules
There is a 36-hour cutoff for finishers. Pacers are allowed only for the 100-mile and 100k distances after mile 50; pacers must check in and wear a pacer bib. Overall male and female awards are given for all distances. Finishers of the 100 mile, 100k, 50 mile, and 50k receive a custom belt buckle and bumper sticker; 100 mile finishers also receive a custom gym bag. All 12-mile runners receive a medal; 12-mile ruckers receive a patch. Camping in the parking lot is allowed. Bibs must be worn on the front and runners should announce their bib number at aid stations for manual timing. Well behaved pets are permitted.
