Bad Dawg Ultra – Waynesville, MO
The Bad Dawg Ultra Endurance Run takes place in Waynesville, Missouri on August 15, 2026. The event includes multiple distance options on a 10 mile out-and-back loop that runs on packed gravel with rolling hills and tree-lined country views. The course layout uses a loop with a main aid station at the start and a turnaround aid station that is minimally stocked.
The race supports the OneSolePurpose project to provide a new pair of shoes to elementary students in Title 1 school districts. Awards are given for overall male and female competitors at each distance. Finishers of the 100 mile, 100 km, 50 mile, and 50 km receive a custom belt buckle and a bumper sticker. All 12 mile participants receive a unique medal and 12 mile ruck participants receive a patch. All 100 mile finishers also receive a custom gym bag.
Pacing is allowed only for the 100 mile and 100 km distances after mile 50; pacers must check in before accompanying runners. Pacers of any kind, including cyclists, are not allowed for other distances. Runners must wear bibs on the front and announce their bib number at the turnaround aid station.
