Event overview
The Bad Dawg Ultra is a series of endurance races held in August 2026 in Waynesville, Missouri, at 25785 Red Oak Road. The event supports the OneSolePurpose project to provide a new pair of shoes to every elementary student in Title 1 school districts. It includes multiple distances and is organized by ultrarunners.

The course uses a 10-mile out-and-back loop on packed gravel with rolling hills and tree-lined country views. There is a main fully stocked aid station at the start and a minimally stocked aid station at the turnaround; both provide water, Gatorade, typical aid station food, and bathrooms. The main aid station will offer hot quesadillas.
Loop requirements vary by distance: 12 milers do a 6-mile out and back loop; 50k runners start with a 5.5 out/5.5 back loop then complete two more loops; 100k and 50 milers complete multiple loops as described by organizers; 100 milers complete 10 loops. Pacers are allowed only for the 100 mile and 100k distances and must check in and wear a pacer bib. Awards include overall male and female prizes for all distances; many finishers receive custom items. Camping in the parking lot and well behaved pets are allowed.
