The Galloping Gobbler is a Thanksgiving Day running event held in St Robert, MO at the St. Robert Community Center. The event is presented in its 16th year and is scheduled for Nov 26, 2026. It includes multiple distances and a kids dash.

- Kids Drumstick Dash
The 5K and 10K are chip-timed and include a technical T-shirt, finisher medals, and overall and age group awards. The 15K Challenge uses one shirt and one bib and awards three finisher medals. The Kids Drumstick Dash has free entry and includes finisher medals. Walkers are welcome and the course is stroller friendly. Custom bibs with the runner's first name are available until Nov 1. T-shirts are guaranteed for registrations through Nov 10. Packet pickup and race-day registration are available; friends and family may pick up packets for others. Participants are asked to bring non-perishable food items to be donated to Snack In A Pack.
The event supports several youth charities including the Armed Forces YMCA, the International Order of Rainbow for Girls, and the International Order of Jobes Daughters. Age groups are organized every five years, starting with youth categories and extending to 70 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
