Back-to-School Bash : Eustis
The Back-to-School Bash is the fourth event in The Oak Series. It is a trail run held on the grounds of Central Florida Bible Camp in Eustis, FL. The course follows about a 1.6 mile loop combining off-road trails and paved terrain.
The event offers three divisions with different participation rules. The Fun Run Division completes one loop, may choose whether to attempt any of the field day stations, does not have a recorded time, and receives a finisher medal. The Trail Run Division completes two loops and does not participate in the field day stations. The Field Day Division completes two loops and participates in all ten field day stations at least once.
Participants in the Field Day Division encounter ten activity stations placed along the route. Examples of stations include an inflatable obstacle course, soccer goal kick, axe throwing, slingshots, disc golf, hurdle hop, ping pong shot, cornhole toss, tube crawl, and backyard bowling.
Distances for the event are organized around the loop structure and the chosen division, with options for one or two laps of the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
