Back-to-School Bash - Eustis
Back-to-School Bash is the fourth event of The Oak Series and the series' only trail run. The course uses the grounds of Central Florida Bible Camp in Eustis and follows about a 1.6 mile loop of off-road trails and paved terrain.
Runners in the Trail Run and Field Day divisions complete two loops, making the total distance about 3.2 miles. The Fun Run division completes one loop and may choose whether to take part in any of the field day stations. Times are not recorded for the Fun Run division, and participants in that division receive a finisher medal.
The Trail Run division does not take part in the field day stations and completes two loops to cover the course. The Field Day division participates in all ten stations at least once and also completes two loops.
Field day stations on the route include Inflatable Obstacle Course, Soccer Goal Kick, Axe Throwing, Slingshots, Disc Golf, Hurdle Hop Obstacle Course, Ping Pong Shot, Cornhole Toss, Tube Crawl and Backyard Bowling. The Field Day and Fun Run divisions have opportunities to attempt these activities during the run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
