Morgan Hill Wildflower Run

The Wildflower Run takes place April 12, 2026 as the 43rd annual edition. It is a non profit, volunteer run event organized by the Morgan Hill branch of the American Association of University Women. One hundred percent of event proceeds fund education and equity programs for women and girls; tax deductible donations to AAUW's Interbranch Special Projects Foundation are directed to the Wildflower Fund.

Event features include flat, fast 5K and 10K courses on scenic local back roads, 2K events held on a school track for children, and a Finish Fest Expo with sponsor and vendor booths plus free crafts and science activities for kids. Chip timing is provided by South Valley Endurance and free action photos are available for download after the run. The event lists age group medals through 80 plus and overall prizes for top finishers.

For 2026 the 5K and 10K routes were adjusted north and east of Live Oak High School to reduce congestion and improve parking; both courses now start and end near the Finish Fest on the east side of Live Oak. The event also includes a separate 5K stroller category with its own medals and prizes, limited edition annual shirts, youth and group discounts, and hundreds of volunteers and volunteer entertainers along the route.
