Event overview
Baby Shippey is a summer trail event held Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Beaumont Reservation in High Ridge, Missouri (6480 Beaumont Reservation Dr). The event offers two distances: a half marathon and a 10K. Registration closes June 5, 2026, and the event is described as a cupless, no-frills trail race. Packet pickup and post-race food take place at the Cub World Building. All entrants receive a custom Baby Shippey item; finisher medals and some swag details are listed as to be announced. Awards are given to the top three men and top three women in each distance. Bib transfers, cancellations, and distance changes are allowed through June 5, 2026; there are no refunds or deferrals.
Course details
- Half Marathon : 13.05 mi, approximately 2,390 feet of climbing; two aid stations at about mile 3 and mile 8.2.
- 10K : 6.1 mi, about 1,100 feet of climbing; one aid station at mile 3.
Both courses use rugged rock traverses, fast jeep roads, gravel, powerline and ATV paths, and narrow switchbacks. Runners will encounter large rocks and boulders, steep ascents and descents, off-camber primitive trail sections, and loose gravel in places. Course GPX files are provided by the organizer.
