Baby Shippey

Baby Shippey is a summer trail running event at Beaumont Reservation near High Ridge, Missouri held on June 7, 2026. The event offers two marked trail distances that use the scouting property and a mix of primitive paths and wider service roads. Limited entry may apply.

The courses are technical and include large rocks and boulders, off-camber primitive trail sections, narrow loose gravel switchbacks, and two powerline corridors. Runners will encounter fast jeep roads, ATV paths, steep ascents and steep descents that substantially increase climbing and descent effort. Aid stations are provided on both courses at the approximate mileages listed below.

• 13.05 mile half marathon, about 2,390 feet of climbing, aid stations at mile 3 and mile 8.2
• 6.1 mile 10K, about 1,155 feet of climbing, one aid station at mile 3

Packet pickup is organized at the Cub World Building. Course GPX files are provided by the organizer. All runners receive event swag as listed at registration and top three men and women in each distance receive awards. Registration policies note that bib transfers and distance changes are allowed until June 5, 2026 and that refunds or deferrals are not available.
