Baby Shippey - June 7, 2026
Baby Shippey is a trail running event held at Beaumont Reservation in High Ridge, MO. The event offers two distances that follow rugged, primitive trails across rocky terrain and steep grades.
The course uses natural trail, gravel, powerline and ATV paths. Runners will encounter large rocks and boulders, off-camber sections, a narrow loose-gravel switchback, two powerline crossings and extended climbs and descents. Parts of the route include faster jeep-road segments and technical rock traverses.
Course specifics:
- Half Marathon roughly 13.05 miles, about 2,390 feet of climbing
- 10K about 6 miles, just over 1,100 feet of climbing
Aid stations are located at approximately mile 3 for both distances and at about mile 8.2 on the half. Cutoff points apply at the aid stations. Packet pickup and a post-race gathering take place at the Cub World Building, where food and ice cream or popsicles will be available and a nearby creek and shelter are accessible after the finish.
All registered runners receive a custom Baby Shippey item. Finisher medals and some award details are to be announced. Bib transfers, cancellations and distance changes are permitted until June 5, 2026. No refunds or deferrals are offered. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
