Brown County Hilly Half

The Brown County Hilly Half is the 11th annual running event held on Saturday, November 21, 2026. The event takes place within Brown County State Park in Nashville, Indiana.

Runners can choose from three race distances:

Half Marathon
10K
5K

The half marathon course starts and finishes at the Saddle Barn/Lower Shelter house. It winds through picturesque Brown County State Park, taking runners up hills, past a fire tower and vistas, and finishes with a fast two-mile downhill section.

The event uses electronic bib timing and provides live results. It is a fundraiser for the Brown County Community YMCA, and the organization states there will be no refunds or deferrals.

For registration, a shirt is guaranteed for those who sign up by Wednesday, November 11, 2026. Online registration closes at 6:00 AM on Thursday, November 19, 2026.
