Course and race details
The usual course is a point-to-point downhill route from Buckley to Orting with a gentle 700 ft descent. Due to a temporary bridge closure, the 2026 half marathon will be an out-and-back course starting in Orting, running to South Prairie, then returning to Orting for the finish. This out-and-back format removes the need for bus transfers.
The 10k is an out-and-back that starts and finishes in Orting. The 10k includes a shirt, a custom medal, and snacks. The trail route is described as smooth, paved, and scenic, with river views and alpine scenery near Mount Rainier. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
