AZ SUNRISE SERIES - Arizona Boardwalk
The event takes place on July 25, 2026 at Arizona Boardwalk in Scottsdale, located at 9500 East Vía de Ventura. It is the sixth leg of the 13th Annual Arizona Sunrise Series.
Distances offered:
- 5K (in-person, limited to 700 participants)
- Virtual Run (US addresses only, event medal and shirt mailed after the event)
The in-person race is chip timed with real time results and event photos available online and via a mobile app. Participants receive a custom series medal and may add event-specific medal attachments. Event swag options include arm sleeves, a dri-fit racerback tank top, or a short sleeve shirt; there is an option to decline swag for a reduced fee. Extra water stations are provided along the course. Male and female age group awards are given to the top three in each group, with age groups spanning youth through seniors.
Packet pick-up is available the day before at Road Runner Sports in North Phoenix and at the Arizona Boardwalk on race day. Mail-in registrations are accepted until July 20, 2026; mail-in registrants may avoid online processing fees. Race day registration is accepted for an additional fee and payment by cash and credit is available.
The event permits wheelchairs, strollers and wagons, welcomes walkers and leashed pets, and does not allow roller blades, skateboards, or motorized devices on the course. The event proceeds rain or shine; there are no refunds or transfers due to weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
