AZ SUNRISE SERIES - Foothills Park

AZ SUNRISE SERIES - Foothills Park is the fifth leg of the 13th Annual Arizona Sunrise Series, held at Foothills Park on West Union Hills Drive in Glendale, AZ. The in-person event offers a chip-timed 5K and the option to participate virtually. The in-person 5K is limited to 700 participants; a virtual entry option is available with shipping of medal and shirt following the event. Virtual registrations are restricted to US addresses.

Race services include packet pick-up on the day of the event at Foothills Park and a pre-race packet pick-up at Road Runner Sports in North Phoenix. The event provides extra water stations along the course, chip timing with real time results and race photos, and male and female age group awards for the top three finishers in age divisions from 8 & Under through 80 & Over.

The series awards points for each completed event with additional points by age group and overall finish. Top point earners and participants who complete at least four of seven series events are entered into a prize drawing that includes multiple sponsor prizes and three $500 gift cards. Race policies note wheelchair, stroller and wagon access is welcome, walkers are allowed, leashed pets are permitted, roller blades skates skateboards and motorized devices are not allowed on course, and there are no refunds or transfers for weather.
