AZ SUNRISE SERIES - Foothills Park (July 11, 2026)
This event is the fifth leg of the 13th Annual Arizona Sunrise Series and takes place at Foothills Park in Glendale, Arizona. The in-person event features a 5K distance and is limited to 700 participants. A virtual run option is offered for participants who cannot attend in person; virtual registrations are restricted to US addresses and event items ship after the event.
The series awards points for each completed event, with extra points based on age-group placement and overall finish. Top point earners and participants completing at least four of seven series events are entered into a prize drawing that includes major prizes and gift cards. Chip timing is used and real-time results and photos are available online and via the event mobile app.
Race services include packet pick-up opportunities before the event and at the race location, additional water stations along the course, and pre- and post-race refreshment options. Male and female age group awards are given to the top three in each age group, with categories ranging from youth to 80 and over. Participants may choose between an open start period or a traditional mass start. Wheelchairs, strollers, wagons, walkers, and leashed pets are permitted; roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed.
