Stunner Night Runs at Usery Mountain Regional Park

- 50K
- 25K
- 12K
- 6K
The course is described as flat and fast and uses the Chain Fruit, Lost Sheep, Channel, and Blevins Trails. Sections of the route wind through Chain Fruit cholla at the base of Pass Mountain. The event is part of the Insomniac Night Trail Run Series with races across Arizona.
Aid support includes a fully stocked start/finish aid station and one fully stocked remote aid station called Levee Aid that runners pass each loop. Aid station offerings list water, ice, electrolyte drinks, salty and sweet snacks, fruit, peanut butter and jelly, bean rollups, and hot food. This is a cupless race so runners are expected to carry a reusable cup or obtain one on site.
Logistics note that parking at Usery is limited. Designated parking is reserved for 50K and 25K runners; 12K and 6K runners are directed to park at the group campground and use a shuttle service. The park charges a $10 entry fee per vehicle. Crews are allowed at the start/finish. Pacers are permitted only for 50K runners beginning with the final loop. Drop bag access is available at the start/finish area.
Weather information indicates hot conditions at the start with overnight temperatures typically in the mid 80s to 90s Fahrenheit. Race features include chip timing, finish line photos, an event goody, an Artworx finisher award, and podium awards for the top three male and female finishers.
