Stunner Night Runs at Usery Mountain Regional Park

Stunner Night Runs takes place Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Usery Mountain Regional Park in Mesa, AZ. Distances offered are:

  • 50K
  • 25K
  • 12K
  • 6K

The courses use the Chain Fruit, Lost Sheep, Channel, and Blevins Trails and run near the base of Pass Mountain through Chain Fruit cholla. The routes are described as flat and fast and include marked loops for the various distances.

Aid and race support includes a fully stocked start/finish aid station and a remote Levee Aid station that runners pass on each loop. Aid supplies listed include water, ice, electrolyte drinks, salty and sweet snacks, fruit, pb&j, bean rollups, and hot food. This is a cupless event; runners should bring a reusable cup or purchase one on site.

Logistics and rules note that crews are permitted at the start/finish and drop bags will be available there. Pacers are allowed only for the 50K beginning with the fourth loop. Parking at Usery is limited; some spaces are reserved for 50K and 25K entrants, with additional parking and a shuttle from the group campground. The park charges a vehicle entry fee.

Safety and event services: courses are marked with orange ribbons with black polka dots, reflective medallions, and laminated junction signs; blue and white checkerboard flagging indicates wrong-way trails. Medical support is provided on site by MedStar Solutions. The race is part of the Insomniac Night Trail Run Series and features chip timing, finish-line photos, an Artworx finisher award, a branded race goody, and podium awards for top three male and female finishers.
