Cowdray Autumn Trail Run
The Cowdray Autumn Trail Run takes place on Saturday 10 October 2026 at Cowdray Farm Shop & Cafe, Midhurst, GU29 0AJ. The event is part of the Run The Seasons series and coincides with Cowdray Farm Shop Apple Day.
The event offers multiple trail distances:
- 10 mile
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 3 km kids
Courses are undulating and include steep uphill and downhill sections, gravel, sand, mud and rocky stretches. Most routes follow bridleways, footpaths, the Serpent Trail or the Sussex Diamond Way, and some sections cross private land used for the race. The 10 km route passes through ancient woodland and open sections showing views across the South Downs. Part of the 5 km course runs within the Deer Park and among historic trees.
Children’s series details: the 3 km kids runs are for ages 6–11 and 5 km junior runs are for ages 12–15 (age on race day). Parents may run with younger children in the 3 km race. A 15% discount applies when entering all four Junior or Kids races on the same order; three of the four races count toward the series final.
Maps and GPX files are available for each course. Race numbers can be collected on the day. Entry fees are: 5 km £20.50, 5 km Cani £22.50, Junior (12–15) £16.50; 10 km £26.50, 10 km Cani £28.50; 10 mile £29.50, 10 mile Cani £31.50; Kids (up to 11 years) 3 km £12.
