About the race
Cowdray Autumn Trail Run returns to the Cowdray Estate near Midhurst, West Sussex, on 11 October 2025. The event offers three distances: 5km, 10km and 10 miles, with race HQ at Cowdray Farm Shop & Café (parking there). Most of the routes are on bridleways, footpaths, the Serpent Trail or Sussex Diamond Way, with some private land used for the race.
The 5km includes the Deer Park for scenic views; the 10km climbs to Bexley Hill before returning through woodland. The 10-mile route follows the Serpent Trail through Verdley Wood and Henley, then descends. It coincides with Cowdray Apple Day, featuring apple pressing, tastings and activities.
