Autumn Chase Fun Run
The Autumn Chase Fun Run is an annual one mile event for children, organized by the Huntsville Track Club and held at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Alabama. The event has been held since 1981 and focuses on promoting healthy habits in youth.
The run is free to enter and is open to Preschool, Elementary and Middle school age children (PreK through 8th grade). School faculty may also participate. Races are organized into separate heats by grade and by gender, with additional heats that include faculty.
Registration opens July 1, 2026 and closes September 17, 2026. Race day registration is available. Participants who register before August 20 are guaranteed a shirt; registration after that date, including same day registration, does not guarantee a shirt.
