Autumn Chase Fun Run
The Autumn Chase Fun Run is an annual one mile event for children, organized by the Huntsville Track Club and held at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Alabama. Established in 1981, the run aims to promote healthy habits among youth and supports a local philanthropic effort.
The event is open to Preschool, Elementary and Middle school age children (PreK to 8) and school faculty may also participate. Races are organized into separate heats by grade and by gender. The event is free to enter; registration opens July 1, 2026 and closes September 17, 2026. Race day registration is available. Registration received before August 20, 2026 guarantees a shirt; registration after that date, including same-day registration, does not guarantee a shirt.
