Autumn Chase Fun Run
The Autumn Chase Fun Run is an annual community event focused on youth health and activity. Established in 1981, the event is hosted by the Huntsville Track Club and presented by the Huntsville Delta Zeta Alumnae Chapter. The run takes place at John Hunt Park in Huntsville, Alabama.
The event features a series of timed heats specifically designed for children and educators. Registration is open to youth from preschool through 8th grade, including participants from Huntsville and surrounding areas. School faculty members are also invited to participate in the activities.
Available distances and participant categories include:
- 1 Mile run for PreK through 8th grade students
- 1 Mile run for school faculty members
This is a free event with no registration fee. Participation supports charitable initiatives, specifically benefiting the Huntsville Hospital Pediatric Audiology Unit and other local organizations dedicated to children. While the run is free, collected sponsorships and donations are directed toward these medical and community programs.
Participants who register by September 1 are guaranteed an event t-shirt. On-site registration is available on the day of the event for those who did not sign up in advance.
