The Autism Shero Run is an inclusive run, walk, and roll event that supports children and adults on the autism spectrum. The event is presented by PACE Run for a Cause, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and registration is described as tax deductible.
Distances and formats include:
- 5K in-person and virtual
- 10K in-person and virtual
- 1K Kids Fun Run in-person
All participants, both in-person and virtual, receive a custom finisher medal, an official race day T-shirt, a reusable swag bag, and post-race refreshments. In-person runners receive chip timing and prizes for the top three male and top three female finishers in the 5K and 10K categories.
The event program includes music from a live DJ, a group warm-up led by event trainers, a bounce house and a kids art station, and food truck options on site. Virtual participants can join from anywhere and have their race bib and finisher medal mailed to them.
