The race is a 10K trail event in Auchterarder on 31 October 2026. The event is organised by Five Star Events and the entry period is now closed. The event had a planned capacity of 650 places.
Event details
The route starts in Auchterarder and goes into the foothills of the Ochil Hills. The course uses a variety of surfaces with forest trails, steady uphills, downhills and a couple of stream crossings. The organisers state the GPS map of the route has a chilli pepper shape. There is no cut off; participants may run, jog or walk.
Entry was online only and was set to close on 24 October 2026 or when the race limit was met. Runners must be at least 16 years old on race day. Headphones are not allowed, although bone conduction headphones are permitted. Registration requires in-person collection of race number and timing chip and ID checks; runners must not swap numbers. Unsecured baggage storage is available and the organisers do not accept responsibility for stored items. All finishers receive a snood and a bespoke Chilli Trail Race 2026 medal.
