ATW Welwyn Half Marathon & 10k

The event is held at Gosling Sports Park, Stanborough Road, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire (AL8 6XE). Races start and finish on the 400m athletics track within the stadium.

Two main race routes use nearby public paths and parkland. The half marathon leaves the stadium, runs through the outskirts of Welwyn, follows the Cole Green Way (a traffic-free former railway), completes a short loop, and returns along the Cole Green Way to finish on the track. The multi-terrain 10k shares the same opening 5 km as the half before following its own loop back to the stadium.

Other items on race day include a free 400m fun run for children with on-the-day registration, a warm-up led by personal trainers, and a professional commentator at the finish. Spectators can access food and drink from caterers while marshals and route signage support runners; a cut-off applies after which marshals and signage will not be available.

The event is licensed by UK Athletics and chip-timed by Event Chip Timing. Finishers receive a custom-designed medal, free professional race photos, and a selection of snacks at the finish. Entry prices listed for the event include the 10K and the Half Marathon.
