Course and race format
Racing takes place in the lake with a swim, followed by a lapped, flat road bike course and a traffic-free run on flat paths alongside the lake in Marston Vale Country Park. The organiser describes the bike course as very fast. Aquabike entries finish at the entrance back into transition and then proceed to the finish arch to collect their medal. The event provides event photos and finish-line snacks.

The organiser is ATW, established in 2011 and running national events in running, triathlon, duathlon, cycling and swimming, with over 40,000 entries per year. Wetsuit hire is available through Zone3 for the season and through a separate provider for day, weekend or month hires. Car parking is available for a small charge in the event car park opposite the venue. ATW does not offer refunds or transfers to another person; entrants may transfer their entry to any future ATW event up to 48 hours before the original event date without providing proof.
