Event overview
The Cowman Triathlon series takes place at Emberton Country Park in Olney on 2 August 2026. The event includes triathlon, aquabike, aquathlon and bike-run options, with relay entries available for several distances. The course features open-water swims, on-road cycle sections and run routes within the park. Race services include fully marked routes, marshal and medical support on course, chip timing, live online results, professional photography, event medals and optional t-shirts. Race packs must be collected during registration at Race HQ. Trophies will be awarded to the first open and female athletes in each distance.
Distances and formats
- Middle (Cowman): 1.9K swim / 90K bike / 21.1K run
- Standard (Calfman): 1.5K swim / 40K bike / 10K run
- Sprint (Stampede): 750m swim / 20K bike / 5K run
Each triathlon distance also has Aquabike and Bike/Run options. An Aquathlon is included for the Sprint distance. Relay teams follow the same swim, bike and run courses as the corresponding individual races.
Entry and rules
Early-bird pricing and a 15% discount for the first 50 places are offered. All participants who are not British Triathlon members must purchase a British Triathlon Race Pass for the event. Age minimums apply: Cowman 18+, Calfman 17+, Stampede 15+ (parental consent required for 15 year olds). Registration closes 29 July 2026.
