Event details
The ATW St Neots Triathlon takes place at Riverside Park, Regatta Meadow, St Neots, Cambridgeshire (PE19 7AB). The swim is held in the River Ouse, the bike course passes through nearby villages, and the run loops around Riverside Park on a multi-lap course. The venue is about a two-minute walk from the local town. The course is described as well marked and supported by experienced marshals. Camping is available the night before the event. Wetsuit hire options are offered, including season hires and short-term hire. The event is organised by ATW, established in 2011, which stages national running, triathlon and related events.
Race formats and logistics
This is a draft-illegal (non-drafting) race. Distances available include:
- Super Sprint: 400 m swim, 8 km bike, 2.5 km run
- Sprint: 750 m swim, 24 km bike, 5 km run
- Standard: 1500 m swim, 45 km bike, 10 km run
- Standard Aquabike and a standard distance relay option (one person per discipline)
Participants receive a custom designed medal and finish line snacks. The organiser partners with Alzheimer’s Research UK for fundraising; opportunities to donate and fundraise appear at checkout. The event policy does not offer refunds or transfers to another person, but entries can be transferred to any future ATW event up to 48 hours before the original event date.
