ATW St Neots Triathlon - Race 1
The ATW St Neots Triathlon takes place at Riverside Park in St Neots. The event features multiple distances and formats, using the River Ouse for the swimming portion. This is a non-drafting competition that includes individual triathlons and relay options.
The course begins with a swim in the River Ouse. The bike leg transitions through local villages, and the final run consists of a multi-lap course around Riverside Park. This multi-lap layout allows spectators to view the participants at several points during the final discipline. The venue is located within a two-minute walk of the local town.
Participants can choose from the following event distances:
- Super Sprint: 400m swim, 8km bike, 2.5km run
- Sprint: 750m swim, 24km bike, 5km run
- Standard: 1500m swim, 45km bike, 10km run
- Standard Aquabike: 1500m swim, 45km bike
- Standard Relay: 1500m swim, 38km or 45km bike, 10km run
The event provides well-marked courses staffed by marshals. Participants receive finish line snacks and a custom-designed medal. Camping is available at the venue the night before the race, and wetsuit hire options are provided for those who require them.
The organizers offer an entry transfer policy that allows participants to move their entry to a future ATW event up to 48 hours before the start. The event also partners with Alzheimer’s Research UK to support fundraising efforts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
