Cambridge Biomedical Campus 10k, 5k and Fun Run
The Cambridge Biomedical Campus 10k, 5k and Fun Run takes place on 19 April 2026 at the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, Francis Crick Avenue, Trumpington, Cambridge CB2 0SL. The event is organised by Active Training World in partnership with CBC Ltd and Prologis.
Available distances and formats:
- 1 Mile Children's Fun Run, free to enter.
- 5 km chip timed run or walk.
- 10 km chip timed run.
The Children's Fun Run uses a closed-road, traffic-free three-lap course on the campus. The 5k is a chip timed one-lap route and the 10k is a chip timed two-lap route that follows traffic-free paths around Hobson Park and the Cambridge Medical Campus. Paths within Hobson Park have a layer of gravel. The course is suitable for wheelchairs and running blades.
Charitable support is a central part of the event. Three charities receive donations from entries: Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust, Maggie’s and Royal Papworth Charity. A total of £3 from every entry will be split and donated to these charities, providing £1 to each. The event also supports the British Heart Foundation and Cambridge Global Health Partnerships, with the option to make additional donations at checkout.
Entry notes: the Children's Fun Run is free for participants, 5k and 10k entry is free for under 17s, and adult tickets have been subsidised. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult for the Fun Run and minimum age restrictions apply for the 5k and 10k.
Sustainable travel is encouraged with bus or bicycle recommended. Free parking is available at Babraham Road and Trumpington Park & Ride, and paid parking is available on campus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
