Event overview
The Cambridge Biomedical Campus 10k, 5k and Fun Run takes place on 19 April 2026 at the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, Francis Crick Avenue, Trumpington, Cambridge (CB2 0SL). The event program includes:
- 1 mile Fun Run (children)
- 5 km Run/Walk
- 10 km Run
The 5k and 10k are chip-timed. The children's Fun Run is free to enter.
Course and accessibility
Races run on traffic-free routes within the campus. The children's Fun Run uses a closed-road 3-lap course on campus. The 5k is a one-lap route and the 10k is two laps, using traffic-free paths near Hobson’s Park and the Cambridge Medical Campus. Paths within Hobson’s Park have a layer of gravel. The course is stated as suitable for wheelchairs and running blades.
Entry, age rules and charities
Entry fees are listed between £0 and £21 across categories; some adult tickets are subsidised. Under-17s have free entry to the 5k and 10k on race day. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult in the Fun Run. Organisers state that £3 from every entry will be split equally between Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust, Maggie’s and Royal Papworth Charity. The event also supports the British Heart Foundation and Cambridge Global Health Partnerships. Additional donations can be made at checkout.
Transport and parking
Organisers encourage bus or bicycle travel. Free parking is available at Babraham Road or Trumpington Park & Ride, and paid parking is available on campus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
