ATW Milton Keynes Triathlon
The ATW Milton Keynes Triathlon is a closed-road triathlon held at Willen Lake in Milton Keynes. The venue offers calm open water for swimming, wide traffic-free roads for cycling, and a flat lakeside running route. The organiser is Active Training World (ATW).
Two race distances are offered:
- Sprint: 750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run
- Standard: 1500 m swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run
The event follows a non-drafting race format and offers a choice between a mass-start or a rolling swim start. Additional entry types include Sprint Aquabike, Standard Aquabike, and a Standard Distance team relay. The race course is clearly marked and marshalled, and finishers receive event snacks and a custom finisher medal.
ATW states the race welcomes first-time triathletes, club athletes and elite competitors and applies a race cutoff of five hours for participants. The organiser provides an entry transfer option that allows transfers to any future ATW event up to 48 hours before the original event date, with no proof required.
