About the race
ATW Grafman Middle Distance Triathlon takes place at Grafham Water Visitor Centre in Grafham, Huntingdon, Cambs on 06/06/2027. The event offers three race choices: Middle Distance Triathlon, Middle Distance Aquabike, and Middle Distance Relay. The middle-distance triathlon course comprises a 1.9 km open water swim at Grafham Water with an Aussie-style exit halfway, a 90 km bike leg on quiet country lanes and rolling Cambridgeshire countryside, and a 21 km lakeside run that passes the Valve Tower. The bike section is strictly non-drafting and the overall event cut-off time is 9 hours 30 minutes. Registration and transition open at 5:30am on race morning, with an evening-before registration option for local athletes.
All bike racking takes place on race morning. Camping is available nearby through Lakeview Paddock. Wetsuit hire is available via a Zone3 partnership with day, weekend and monthly options. Support on course includes marshals, clearly marked routes, and hydration and nutrition stations.
Every finisher receives a bespoke Grafman medal and finish-line snacks. Spectators can use the on-site café and children’s playground. Entry pricing ranges from GBP 145 to GBP 185, with specific offers listed for the three race options. The event supports fundraising for Alzheimer’s Research UK.
The organiser, ATW, was established in 2011 and runs national multi-sport events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
