ATW Grafman Middle Distance Triathlon
The ATW Grafman Middle Distance Triathlon is scheduled for 6 June 2027 at Grafham Water Visitor Centre, Marlow Park, Grafham, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. The event offers middle distance race formats including individual and team options and is organised by Active Training World.
Entry options include the Middle Distance Triathlon, Middle Distance Aquabike and the Middle Distance Relay. Entry fees range from £140 to £180 depending on the chosen option.
The course format is:
- 1.9 km open water swim with an Aussie style exit halfway
- 90 km scenic bike on quiet country lanes
- 21 km lakeside run past the Valve Tower
The bike race is strictly non drafting. The overall event cut off time is 9 hours 30 minutes. Registration and transition open on race morning, with an evening before registration option for local athletes.
Support on course includes marshals and hydration and nutrition stations. Finishers receive a bespoke Grafman medal and finish line snacks. Spectator facilities include an on site café and a children's playground. Camping is available nearby through Lakeview Paddock and wetsuit hire is offered via a partnership with Zone3. Parking is available at Grafham Water with on site payment machines.
The event has been recognised in past years, including National Event of the Year 2014 and hosting the Triathlon England Middle Distance Championships and British Middle Distance Championships in specified years. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
